With a custom invitation, the sky’s the limit!
G E T T I N G S T A R T E D
We start with a consultation – preferably in person, but we can work via phone or email, as well! This meeting lets us get an idea of what you are looking for in an invitation – style, theme, colors and of course, budget. Our goal is to create an invitation which reflects your style as a couple perfectly, so the more details you can give us, the better. You are encouraged to schedule an appointment for a consultation. We recommend beginning this process 4 – 6 months before your wedding date.
P R I C I N G and P A Y M E N T
After our meeting, we will put together pricing and a timeframe for your invitations. Once you receive the estimate, let us know if there are any changes to the scope of work. Once the paper sizes and selections are approved, we require a 50% deposit to begin work. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check or cash.
D E S I G N and R E V I E W
We then move into the design phase. We’ll work with you on wording, typestyles and art until you are perfectly happy with the invitation set. After everything is finalized, we will create one final proof using your information and paper choices. Carefully review it for any spelling, grammar, or information errors. We’ll need your signature for approval on the final proof (sent by mail, fax, or email) to begin the printing and production process.
P R I N T I N G and P R O D U C T I O N
Once we have your final approval, we will schedule your printing date and start preparing your order for production. Once you order is completed and ready for pickup, we will contact you to arrange pickup. The remaining balance, as well as any additional costs – shipping, postage, addressing or mail prep – are due at final pickup.
S P E C I A L S E R V I C E S
Custom invitation base pricing includes printing of the response envelopes, as well as your return address on the back flap of the mailing envelope. For an additional charge, we can print your guests’ names and mailing addresses directly onto the envelope, in colors and typestyles to match your invitation. Let us know if you are considering this and we will be happy to give you pricing. We can also stuff, seal and stamp your invitations, and deliver them to the post office; contact us for pricing.
We can also create programs, menus, wine labels, escort cards, seating charts, thank you notes, etc. to coordinate with your wedding invitation. Please feel free to contact us with any requests you have and we will provide you with details.
Are samples available?
Yes! If you’re not certain how your paper choices will look together, we can do a paper proof for you., Using generic invitation information, we’ll put one complete invitation together for you, in your paper choices, to review before you decide to order. The charge for this is $30.00 and will be deducted from your final balance.
How much do custom invitations cost?
Due to the individual nature of custom invitation designs, we do not have a price list for these products. We will be happy to provide you with pricing once we have had a consultation.
How long will it take to receive them?
Printing and production takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks from final approval, and varies depending upon the invitation style and the amount of assembly required. We recommend ordering 4-6 months before your wedding date to ensure you have plenty of time for your invitations to be produced.
When should I mail my invitations?
For wedding invitations, we recommend mailing your invitations 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. If you are having a destination wedding, we recommend mailing your invitations 10-12 weeks before your wedding date. If your guests are overseas, try to give an extra two weeks on top of this to allow for them to receive their invitations and mail their RSVP back to you.
Do the invitations come assembled?
Yes, all the custom invitations come completely assembled and ready to mail.
Do you have a minimum order?
No, we do not have a minimum order requirement.
Do I have to order in certain increments?
For custom invitations, you must order in quantities of 10.
I need my invitations superfast - is this possible?
Depending on your timeline and the materials required, we always try to accommodate those last minute orders. Please call us to see if this is an option. For certain circumstances, there may be a rush fee of 20% of your total order price; we will advise you of any rush charges before any work begins.
